LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures and the lines it distributes have received more than 60 nominations for the 2020 AVN Awards nominations, with nearly half going to Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, Lost Love and Divine.

Lost Love and Divine were directed by blockbuster creator Brad Armstrong and showcased the talents of Wicked Girl Jessica Drake, whose groundbreaking educational project Jessica Drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Senior Sex also received multiple nominations. The Wicked team's richly diverse productions were recognized by the editors of Adult Video News alongside high-profile contributions from such independent filmmakers as Mike Quasar and Hank Hoffman. Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody received a plethora of nominations, including Best Parody, Best Art Direction, Best Comedic Screenplay Axel Braun, Best Director – Comedic Production Axel Braun, Best Editing, Axel Braun & Claudia Ross, Best Leading Actress Kenzie Taylor, Best Makeup Dusty Lynn, Best Soundtrack, Best Special Effects, Best Supporting Actor Quinton James, Best Three-Way Sex Scene Kenzie Taylor, Lacy Lennon and Seth Gamble, and Best Transgender One-on-One Sex Scene Aubrey Kate & Kenzie Taylor. Axel Braun's Nylon received Best Anthology Series or Channel, and Gazongas 2, produced by Braun and directed by his son Rikki, received a Best Big Bust Production nom. The consistently high caliber of Axel's work over the past 12 months was rewarded with the coveted Director of the Year nomination.

Intense and stylish, Drake's vibrant Armstrong-directed Editor's Choice Divine received attention in the Best Anthology Production and Best Art Direction categories. In recognition of her work as a filmmaker and progressive sexual wellness authority, the groundbreaking Jessica Drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Senior Sex earned Drake and co-creator/senior sex advocate Joan Price Best Niche Production and Best Director – Gonzo/Anthology Production nominations.
Love Song, Mike Quasar's excellent contribution to the Wicked Passions label, was rewarded with nearly half a dozen major nominations, including Best Romance, Best Director – Dramatic Production Mike Quasar, Best Dramatic Screenplay, Mike Quasar, Best Leading Actor Small Hands, and Best Supporting Actress Joanna Angel.
