LAS VEGAS—AVN Hall of Famer Wendy Williams has received a BBW Awards nomination for Trans Performer of the Year. Williams won the title back in 2017.
“I’m excited to be nominated for the third time,” said Williams. “Being a plus-size model in the trans genre has certainly been difficult. I have always been accepted in the BBW community, so being recognized is always special.”
Williams will be attending the upcoming BBW Awards on January 21, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will be held at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fans can vote for Williams at this link.
An AVN Award winner and TEA Lifetime Achievement Award honoree, Williams has maintained a adult industry career that spans nearly 20 years. In addition to her official website, WendyWilliamsXXX.com, she has worked for nearly every major trans adult company.
Williams has been collected a multitude of nominations and wins, including the 2009 AVN Transsexual Performer of the Year, Urban X's 2012 Transsexual Interracial Performer of the Year, the Biggie Awards 2016 Social Media Personality of the Year and the BBW Awards' 2017 Trans Star of the Year.
Williams is also the owner of her own cosmetics line, PaintedByWendy.com. She is the owner of the Roadhouse Bar in Cookeville, Tenn., and currently hosts the longest-running trans party in Lexington, Ky.
