Visit FetishArtist’s ‘Our Wicked Brew’ Show at Wicked Grounds

SAN FRANCISCO—“Our Wicked Brew,” a solo art show featuring the fetish art of Jay E. Moyes, opens Saturday, June 1, at Wicked Grounds Kinky Cafe in San Francisco.

“Our Wicked Brew” is the artist’s first solo show since “Flames, Floggers, and Fangs” at Threshold in Los Angeles more than a decade ago. The San Francisco Bay Area was where Moyes started drawing kinky artwork at places like Fantasy Makers, Links, House of Differences and Bondage A Go Go. Since those days, Moyes has gone on to show at Dirty Show Detroit, La Luz de Jesus, and Gallery 30 South. The artist has also been featured in Sinical Magazine, Forced Womanhood, and has an interview coming out in the latest issue of “Barely Evil” magazine by the creators of Blue Blood. With luck, there will be some copies to sign for guests at Wicked Grounds on Saturday.

“This marks my first return to San Francisco in over 10 years. I’m so excited!” Moyes said. “I’m so grateful to Jane and the Wicked Grounds family for this opportunity to show in one of the most important BDSM community spots in the Bay Area. Kind thanks also go to former barista, Shodan Server, who kept posting about Wicked Grounds and inspired me not to give up on showing at the cafe”

Known around the world, Wicked Grounds Kinky Cafe may be the only BDSM community coffee shop on the planet. The coffee shop prides itself as a space where you can learn more about kink, buy bondage gear, meet like minded people, and of course enjoy a damned good cup of coffee while surrounded by kinky art.

The opening reception starts at 6 p.m. and Moyes will be there with stickers, greeting cards, prints and original art. The artwork will be on display until early October.

Those outside of San Francisco wishing to purchase work on display can contact Jane at [email protected].
