LOS ANGELES—Argentinian model and content creator VikingAstryr is currently in the process of writing a self-help book in hopes of inspiring others struggling with difficult life journeys.
Astryr has gone viral on Instagram for the short clip of her jump rope workout, garnering 128 million views.
Astryr said, "The book will draw inspiration from moments in my life that I’ve had to confront, and I am only now finding the peace and space in my mind to proceed in writing it. My life has been marked by tragic and traumatic events since I was young, losing my entire family, living on the streets, and eventually getting adopted by millionaires but I have learned to overcome these challenges and achieve my goals through hard work, making the right choices, and mimicking successful people. As an adult, I have accomplished my dream of traveling the world and achieving financial freedom through determination and perseverance. Despite facing abuse, abandonment, and bullying, I have become stronger and more capable of navigating life on my own, without the support of a traditional family."
Astryr previously worked in management for a global corporate firm but admits that financial success in Argentina was an uphill climb. Astryr added, "Salaries are extremely low, and with inflation around 100 percent and many restrictions to buy dollars, it was impossible to save money, invest or simply achieve goals. My country’s situation killed every dream I had. Far from quitting, I kept searching for new business opportunities."
She gave modeling a shot after seeing an article on a plus-size model making six figures, and after five years, many accounts deleted, issues with collecting money, scammers, and catfish in the game, she finally is enjoying hard-won success as an adult content creator. Astryr said, "At first, I thought, 'I wish I was more confident about my body and less shy,’ then just laughed it off and got on with my life. And I couldn’t be happier. Regardless of where we are born or how difficult life may become, we all possess the tools within our minds to succeed by transforming negatives into positives and seeing the bigger picture beyond immediate challenges. I love my fans who have supported me and always work hard to be there for them beyond a virtual XXX platform. We are after all humans behind a screen. This quote from Marilyn Monroe fits my thoughts very well, 'If you let your fears out, you will have more space to live your dreams.'"
