LONDON—A U.K. charity has denied a donation from a cycle club named the Porn Pedallers during this year’s Prudential RideLondon event in July.
The main “cause for concern” is the Porn Pedallers jersey, which has their primary sponsor's logo Television X printed across the front in bold letters.
The Porn Pedallers are comprised of porn stars, adult performers and people who work in and around the adult industry. They ride for fun, but they take their cycling seriously.
Television X have been commissioning hardcore pornography since 1995 and are often sighted as “the home of British hardcore.”
The charity, who will go unnamed, have stated that they didn't want their charity to be affiliated with hardcore porn, and they are concerned with the association and possible ramifications.
One of the club’s strongest riders is award winning porn star Rebecca More. She is known for appearing in last year's Hard Brexxxit playing Teaser Maynot alongside Jizza Cwoarbyn and Knickerless Virgin among many other explicate hardcore films shot for Television X.
Rebecca has been riding with the Porn Pedallers since its incarnation in 2017 and has helped raised money for the British Heart Foundation among others on previous charity rides.
So why are the Porn Pedallers too hardcore for charity work now? Hardcore pornography distributed by Television X is law abiding, quality British product.
Unfazed, the Porn Pedallers are still planning on riding for organizations who are happy to receive support from people who love riding bikes, as much as they enjoy riding their co-stars.
