AWSummit 2020 Postpones, New Dates Set for Aug. 25-28

MAMAIA, Romania—Organizers for AWSummit are monitoring the coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely and made the difficult decision to postpone the event.

The new dates for AWSummit 2020 are set for Aug. 25-28.

“AWSummit brings a big thank you to their sponsors and speakers for helping them make this decision easier. With their support and understanding, we are confident we will be able to deliver a successful AWSummit in August,” said Roxana, AWSummit’s event director.

With the new dates, there will also be some other changes. AWSummit has been forced to move to a different hotel since the original one was fully booked until the middle of September.

The new AWSummit Venue will be Hotel Alcor Mamaia, a 4-Star luxurious hotel on the beach of Mamaia, within walking distance to the clubs and great facilities.

“We are very happy to be able to secure the new dates and a new venue hotel in such a short time. We are now looking forward to continuing the hard work, to make the greatest edition of AWSummit ever. We are working hard on updating our website, ticketing system, and hotel booking system to be in sync with our new venue and we will be following up with everyone that has already booked their rooms and tickets regarding the changes,” Roxana said.

Organizers understand the full scale and effect of the coronavirus/COVID-19 is not known yet, and continue to closely monitor the situation. Additionally, if the event cannot take place Aug. 25-28, all attendees and sponsors will get fully refunded tickets, hotel rooms and sponsorships.
