LAS VEGAS—ED Publications, publisher of Exotic Dancer magazine, has announced that the Gentlemen’s Club Expo 2022 is moving to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The event is still set to take place Aug. 14-17.
“After being out of Las Vegas for three years, we didn’t want to return to The Strip at a casino that would be in the midst of a property-wide renovation,” said ED publisher Dave Manack. “Thankfully, after much persistence on our part, the Expo was moved over to Planet Hollywood, which our convention attendees enjoyed in 2019. It’s a great location, right in the middle of The Strip, with the attached ‘Miracle Mile Shops’ and ultra-modern guest rooms. We couldn’t be more excited about this upgrade!”
The move comes after the original location, Bally’s Casino, announced it would be undergoing renovation. The $69 daily room rate for the event will remain the same. Any Expo attendee who already made their room reservation for Bally’s (via the Expo room block) will automatically have their reservation moved over to Planet Hollywood. Those who booked their Bally’s room via a third-party website will need to cancel their Bally’s reservation and re-book.
Suites of varying prices are also available for Expo attendees, and a new web link for direct online booking will be available soon. To book a room at Planet Hollywood today, click here or call (866) 317-1829 and mention the Gentlemen’s Club Expo.
Those who plan to attend the Expo who may have booked a hotel room at Paris may note that Paris does not connect to Planet Hollywood. Paris guests would need to walk outside to the Strip before being able to enter the Expo at Planet Hollywood.
The Expo will once again feature the ED University Certification Seminars for club operators and staff, the two-day Expo trade show, along with the ED’s Awards Show at Planet Hollywood’s Criss Angel Theater. It will also include the Opening Night Party at the Hustler Club, the $10,000 Lingerie Contest at Spearmint Rhino and the Finals of the 2022 EDI contest at Deja Vu Showgirls.
