LOS ANGELES—Venus Lux Entertainment announces the addition of a high-ticket-item raffle at the premiere of the Syren: Burlesque show at Cheetah’s Nightclub on Sunday, August 7. The evening, hosted by Hudsy Hawn and Siouxsie Q, will feature a dozen gorgeous performers celebrating unity, sex-positivity, and empowerment.
Proceeds from the raffles with go to the APAC (Adult Performer Advocacy Committee) and the FSC (Free Speech Coalition).
“I'm thankful for the support of my community, such as our sponsors and performers, who are standing by me during these times. What we need now is it be unified to put change into motion,” declared Venus Lux. “That's why it's so important to have APAC and FSC involved. I look forward to working more with APAC in the future, and creating change in the industry, through their peer-to-peer program.”
The raffle will be broken down into two price points at the event: Raffles for which tickets will be sold for $1 per ticket will give partygoers a chance to win items including feather roses, keychain floggers, and magnetic nipple balls, as well as collars, handcuffs, leashes, floggers, cock rings, vibrators, and swag, including hats, hoodies, Devil Tail tanks, beanies, and mugs. Raffles for which tickets will be sold for $5 per ticket will give party-goers a chance to win a Kink Lab Neon Wand, Joanna Angel Bondage Essentials items, and/or a Syren Latex dress.
The Syren Burlesque schedule will be as follows:
8:30-10 p.m.—Industry
Red Carpet / VIP Reception
10 p.m.-Closing—General Admission
10:30 p.m.-Midnight—Performances and small raffle prizes
Midnight-12:15 a.m.—FSC/APAC speeches
12:15-2 a.m.—Party and grand raffle prizes
“We need to start advocating and supporting one another, because at the end of the day, we are all sisters who face the same hardships as all women in a male-dominated industry,” said Venus. “I hope this event will spark unity in women, to further improve the future for succeeding female performers.
