Svakom Unveils Billboard with PinkCherry, Marks 10th Anniversary

TORONTO—Adult toy manufacturer Svakom, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has unveiled a new billboard alongside Toronto’s busy Gardiner Expressway, featuring the brand's top seller, Phoenix Neo.

"The ad, made in collaboration with PinkCherry as part of their co-op marketing program, features artwork that is consistent with PinkCherry’s short and to-the-point creative," the company said in its announcement.

"We’re very happy to see Svakom promoted on a billboard, and with such a gorgeous design,” said Alexandro Feynerol, sales manager at Svakom. “Our products focus on combining innovative technology with only the best sensations for a knuckle-biting experience each and every time. With this billboard, we hope that Svakom can reach an even wider audience."

The billboard has approximately 1,077,000 weekly impressions and will stay up through November.

Showcasing advanced technology and contemporary design, Svakom toys and tools have become one of the industry’s mainstays.

Meanwhile, the company celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Shenzhen, China on Oct. 22 where guests were treated to a night of entertainment. The party had over 100 guests in attendance at the city’s Four Seasons Hotel, where guests enjoyed a buffet that was a fusion of eastern and western cuisine, as well as an open bar.

The evening's entertainment included a DJ, and a prize drawing for 10 free Svakom toys. Other highlights were a cake-cutting ceremony and drag performances.

“There was a meticulous level of planning that went into organizing this,” said Tiaan van der Merwe, a Svakom representative who organized the event. “It’s our tenth year in the industry—a whole decade—and we wanted to give those new and old to Svakom a chance to mingle and have fun. We wanted them to walk through the doors and be blown away.”

The party, which was streamed live, received more than 140,000 views throughout the night. Guests also received complimentary gift bags containing either Svakom Products Winni 2 or Pulse Pure.

“We had a lot of people coming up to us saying how much fun they had and, of course, how much they loved the open bar,” Merwe said. “In general, the atmosphere was almost electrifying—infectiously joyous with everyone either dancing or talking amongst themselves.”

Svakom’s 10-year anniversary celebrations are still underway with the recent "Explore Your Limits" campaign accepting entries until Dec. 15, and the limited-edition anniversary box available for purchase.

The company also hailed its participation in Berlin’s Venus expo as a success as it showed off its Connexion series and other new products.

Taking place Oct. 20-23, the expo showcased a variety of vendors and industry notables, including members of the Svakom team at its booth, displaying an array of products. Reaching about 30,000 visitors, the Venus Fair proved to be successful for Svakom as it sold the majority of its items while giving visitors the opportunity to spin a lucky wheel with a chance to win prizes and learn more about Svakom products.

“Our best sellers were definitely Sam Neo and Ella Neo—due to their versatility and interactive capabilities—as well as our newest thrusting vibrator Avery,” said Iker Perez, Svakom brand ambassador.

He added, “Venus Fair has opened our eyes a little bit, we’ve seen a change in the industry—a minuscule shift, but one we are glad to have witnessed. Customers are definitely looking towards interactive toys and ones that feature app control, which is why our Connexion Series products seemed to be disappearing by the second.”

Svakom’s Connexion Series is known for its innovative technology and range of functions such as compatibility with a variety of interactive 2D content platforms, as well as offering a unique experience for cam sites.
