NEW YORK—Adult industry icon Sunny Lane got more than a hot date to the 2019 AVN Awards this year—she got her red carpet get-up splashed across the New York Post in its coverage of the event. Dressed fancifully in an ornate period piece, the ever-affable adult film star radiated her famous smile as the guest of similarly clad New York comedian Eitan Levine.
Levine was on hand to represent Hamiltoe, a Wood Rocket/Pornhub parody he conceived after seeing the smash Broadway show. The tongue-in-cheek release took home Clever Title of the Year and Best Soundtrack.
Lane, an AEE mainstay for many years, signed several hours Wednesday through Friday and an hour on Saturday before getting decked out for the 2019 AVN Awards and walking the famous red carpet with the former Elite Daily writer. Instantly the colorful couple drew hordes of eager photographers, delighted to see the bold fashion of faux Hamilton and his drop-dead gorgeous guest, Sunny.
“Thank you to AVN for always being there for me!” Lane said. “I am also so honored that Eitan asked me to be a part of this Hamiltoe impromptu adventure. The whole evening was a blast!”
