Rialto Report Sheds Light on Murder of '80s Star Kathy Harcourt

NEW YORK CITY—A recent Rialto Report podcast episode delved the life and mysterious murder of British adult star Kathy Harcourt, who worked for several top American adult companies during her short career in XXX. After 40 years, the facts behind her mysterious death have finally been revealed.

As a respected figure of the "Golden Era" of adult film, Harcourt had worked for such companies as Video-X-Pix, Essex Video, and Caballero Home Video, performing with the likes of Lisa DeLeeuw, Billy Bee, and Ron Jeremy (her short-time boyfriend) during her roughly four-year career from 1980 to 1984. She was featured in magazines, stripped at the Melody Burlesk, and turned up at many industry parties.

Besides being a beautiful woman, she stood out as one the few English adult actresses in the industry speaking with a thick British accent, seen as as almost comical among all-american talent.

In 1984, this bubbly and seemingly happy performer was found dead in New York's East River under mysterious circumstances.

After 40 years, her story and death can finally heard here.
