“While social media is a wonderful promotional tool, unfortunately self-booking is becoming more challenging for performers because of censorship, shadow banning and algorithms working against us,” said Dahl.
“When you’re promoting your brand or business, you need to be seen. My last post was inexplicably deleted by Twitter, so a word of advice to fellow performers: It would be wise to expand your promotional efforts in order to be seen by a wider range of potential employers.”
