LOS ANGELES—Siri Dahl was welcomed as a guest this week on Peter Shankman’s podcast "Faster Than Normal," where the media entrepreneur highlights unique success stories, living with ADD/ADHD and using it to personal and professional advantage.
The award-winning adult model/performer, powerlifter and host of her own podcast "After Adult" spoke with Shankman about running her multiple businesses, her five-year performing hiatus, joining the NFT craze and the current status of the adult industry.
“There’s been such a massive shift in the mentality of fans, people who follow adult performers," Dahl said. People can subscribe to [my content platform] for just over six dollars a month, and that seems a lot more tolerable than the old model of joining a porn website and it’s 20, 30 bucks a month ... it’s absolutely made it feel more mainstream.”
The star also notes that what makes her happiest is powerlifting—“My week feels totally off-kilter if I don’t have access to a gym”—and “being able to create my own daily reality ... it’s one of the reasons I really love what I do for a job. I love being in control of what I do every day, what time I wake up, what time I go to bed, my own schedule ... I’m a business owner, it’s great!”
