Sarah Valmont to Guest-Moderate #SexTalkTuesday

CYBERSPACE—#SexTalkTuesday has announced that it has obtained the services of writer Sarah Valmont to be the special guest moderator for the March 2 edition of the Twitter-based chat show, whose topic of discussion will be “Sex and Horror.” The online discussion will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

A writer in the adult industry since 2013, Valmont’s most recent project, the Sssh.com featurette Mirror Game directed by studio founder Angie Rowntree, has won numerous industry and mainstream awards.

Commented Rowntree, “I’ve always aspired to shift the paradigm around adult cinema, and telling stories with a depth of narrative ultimately is part of that. In many ways, though, Mirror Game was new territory for Sssh, which of course is all due to the fans’ response and demand for sexual thrills mingling with suspense. As a writer, Sarah did a tremendous job of creating a story that combines elements of supernatural horror that are further ignited by the erotic imagination.”

Valmont added, “In the wake of releasing a movie like Mirror Game, it seems fitting to ponder the ways in which terror and arousal are in fact mirror opposites of the same adrenaline rush. Just as our fears are primal, so is our lust. The horror genre obviously has a rich and fascinating history of playing on these aspects of the human experience, so I’m hopeful that this discussion will let us shed light on some of the darker aspects of the human psyche.”

Sex Talk Tuesday is intended as a fun and provocative Twitter-based chat and is held every second Tuesday of the month. The event is hosted and coordinated by Sssh.com, a source for award-winning, sex positive adult cinema for women and couples.

Each session, a guest moderator asks thought-provoking questions to a group of participants, who send hundreds of tweets during each round of #SexTalkTuesday. The result is a lively and entertaining discussion that invites participants to be open and candid with their thoughts and opinions on sex, life, love and the humor of it all, in a way that fosters a supportive and compassionate environment for the conversation.
