NEW YORK—SW Survival Guide has announced the return of the Sex Work Survival Guide Conference with sponsorship by Pornhub, Chaturbate and others, scheduled for Sunday, June 2, at 3 Dollar Bill in Brooklyn, N.Y. and online starting at 2:00 p.m. ET.
This year’s event, titled "How to Make Money,” celebrates International Whores’ Day by offering educational exploration of financial literacy in the sex work industry.
Since its inception, the Sex Work Survival Guide Conference has been a beacon of education, support and empowerment for sex workers and allies alike. Building upon the success of previous years, the 2024 conference aims to equip attendees with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the financial landscape of the industry.
The conference will feature a dynamic lineup of panels, workshops and keynote speakers, providing invaluable insights and strategies for success.
Highlights include:
• "Balancing Your Value and Setting Your Prices," a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session delving into the intricacies of pricing in the sex work industry.
• "FMTY, International Travel & Touring," a discussion that explores the opportunities and challenges of traveling as a sex worker with practical tips and advice.
• "Money Management/The Psychology of Money," a workshop focusing on effective money management strategies and the psychological aspects of financial well-being.
• "Optimizing Content/Self-Promotion/SW Options & Branding," a workshop for learning how to maximize online presence and build a strong personal brand.
• "Self-care & Burnout Prevention," a workshop for exploring techniques for prioritizing self-care and preventing burnout in a demanding industry.
The conference will conclude with a closing keynote address by Miss Ceyenne Doroshow from G.L.I.T.S Inc., followed by an afterparty social for attendees to connect.
