LOS ANGELES—Fetish studio Severe Sex Films has received three nominations from adult film critics for the XRCO Awards.

Severe’s lighthearted BDSM feature Corrupted By the Evils of Fetish Porn is nominated for Best Comedy. The acclaimed film was nominated for Best Comedy by AVN, in addition to a nod for Most Outrageous Sex Scene. Corrupted… also screened at the CineKink 2018 film festival in NYC and at an off-site screening in conjunction with Severe’s participation in the SXSW panel “Using Explicit Sex as a Storytelling Element.“ Corrupted By the Evils of Fetish Porn follows the adventures of a nerdy film editor in financial trouble who starts editing porn and gets drawn into the fetish scene.
The company’s lesbian take on the 50 Shades saga, Ms. Grey 2: Darker, is nominated for Best Parody; the feature was nominated in the same category by the AVN Awards for 2018.
