LOS ANGELES—Coming off one of the biggest years of his career, Seth Gamble celebrated the AVN Awards by taking home the trophy for Best Actor – Feature for his work in Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Wicked Comix).
At Saturday night’s show in Las Vegas, Deadpool XXX also picked up Best Parody and a pair of other awards, while The Possession of Mrs. Hyde (Wicked Pictures) starring Seth and Avi Love won Best Action/Thriller, Movie of the Year and Best Director – Feature for Axel Braun. The two blockbusters scored a combined nine awards.
“Axel Braun, my friend, mentor and a man who believed in me at a time I didn’t truly believe in myself and gave me the opportunity to take on such an iconic role, thank you so much, my friend,” Seth wrote for his acceptance speech. “I want to thank every friend in this business who’s always stuck with me, you know who you are. I want to thank every single girl in this industry, you are the most courageous women I know and I’m grateful for every one of you and the opportunity to allow me to work with you.”
Seth also thanked Tommy Pistol, Wicked Pictures, Steve Orenstein, Xander Corvus, OC Modeling, his “wonderful girlfriend” Kenzie Taylor and Mark Davis, whom he thanked for “introducing me to a better way.”
