Seth Gamble Receives 15 Nominations for 2023 AVN Awards

LOS ANGELES — 2023 AVN Male Performer of the Year nominee, three-time AVN Best Actor, and Gamma Films contract performer, Seth Gamble, is entering awards season with fifteen 2023 AVN Awards nominations, a personal best for the celebrated performer, actor, director, and writer now entering his sixteenth year in adult entertainment.

Gamble's work has been recognized in multiple projects that are in the running for AVN Awards’ top honor—the Grand Reel. Of the ten titles nominated for 2023, he starred in five—including Going Up (Lust Cinema), for which he earned a Best Leading Actor nomination, the uproarious Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Wicked Comix), in which he reprised his award-winning portrayal of Deadpool, Dark Is The Night (Wicked Noir), Drift (Deeper), and Stars (Adult Time).

In addition to starring in five of the Grand Reel nominees, Gamble created a sixth—Deranged (Vols. 1 & 2), his debut narrative feature for Wicked Pictures. Produced by four-time AVN Director of the Year and Wicked Pictures Head of Production Axel Braun, the psychological thriller received nominations for Grand Reel, Outstanding Directing – Individual Work (Gamble), Best Screenplay (Gamble), Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer White), and Best Leading Actress, the latter in recognition of Kenzie Taylor's performance.

Gamble's ubiquitous presence in the past year was not only recognized with the coveted Male Performer of the Year nomination, but a multitude of additional nominations which spoke to his range as both an actor and sexual performer: Best Actor - Featurette ("The Nanny Incident," Pure Taboo), Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene (Maddy May's Mayhem Sc. 2: DVP & DAP, Gamma/Evil Angel; Maddy May, Mick Blue & Gamble), Best Foursome/Orgy Scene (Climax 2 – Scene 4, Dorcel; Emma Hix, Gianna Dior, Kit Mercer, Robby Echo & Gamble), Best Gangbang Scene (Rebel Rhyder: Triple Anal & Airtight, Outrageous Anal 2, Gamma/Evil Angel; Rebel Rhyder, John Strong, and Gamble), and two Best Male/Female Sex Scene nominations ("Dream Girl," Pure Taboo; with Kenna James, and Going Up – Episode 1, Lust Cinema; with Anna Claire Clouds).

“I sincerely want to thank the entire team at AVN for recognizing my work as a performer, actor, director, and writer,” said Gamble. “Receiving the Male Performer of the Year nomination is, in and of itself, an honor. After my sixteenth year as a performer, I can say versatility-wise, this year has topped every year I’ve had thus far. But to add Best Leading Actor, Best Actor - Featurette, Outstanding Directing - Individual Project, and Grand Reel? It's all truly an honor and humbling, and I’d like to thank everyone, from the talent and the crews to the support staff and the studios, who helped make this the most rewarding year of my career to date."

Of Deranged's reception, Gamble added, "I'm grateful to see my narrative directorial debut honored with five AVN nominations in the areas of directing, writing, and performing. But I am especially grateful to my wonderful wife Kenzie Taylor for her unconditional support and incredible work ethic. Her dedication and the sheer amount of intelligence and drive she brought to the character of Charlie was inspiring - and chilling. She fit the role perfectly, and I'm so happy to see her hard work recognized with a Best Leading Actress nomination. Thank you, AVN, for recognizing the passion we put into this, and, of course, my friend and mentor Axel Braun for the opportunity and for believing in me.”

Gamble's visual anthology Money earned a Best Gonzo/Cinemacore Movie or Limited Series nomination, as well as a Best Solo/Tease Performance nod for Vanna Bardot's performance in the second scene. “I'm grateful to Vanna for her amazing performance,” said Gamble, “and I want to thank my crew, including Ryan Ray, James Avalon, Billy Visual, and Shaun Rivera, for helping me bring my visions to life."
