LOS ANGELES—Actor/director Seth Gamble has released “Entendre,” on LucidFlix.com, starring Melissa Stratton.
The new release is the second scene of his upcoming feature Enigma, his collaboration with Los Angeles-based filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor Siren Obscura.
The scene opens as an aspiring dancer (Stratton) gracefully practices her ballet moves with such passion that she ignites a flame in an admirer (Gamble), who watches her from the shadows. When casting Entendre, Gamble and Obscura knew they needed a performer with a very specific set of skills.
“We were seeking someone who had actually studied ballet, who possessed that high degree of technical precision, artistic expression, and emotional depth,” Gamble said. “Fortunately, Melissa Stratton, with her background in ballet, was able to deliver the intricate footwork, dynamic leaps, and graceful pirouettes, all executed with impeccable control and poise.
