LAS VEGAS—After a five-year hiatus, Jamie Kelly's "Approximate Podcast" returns for its third season now as a streamlined, industry-wide interview show.
The series producer and host Kelly said, "'The Approximate Podcast' was once a catch-all, multi-faceted, and quite frankly unfocused creative endeavor. Born out of a love for talk radio and storytelling, the 'Approximate Podcast' was ultimately overly ambitious in scope and subject matter. After only two seasons (2016-2018), a decision was made to close shop on the podcast indefinitely. Towards the end of 2020, I relocated to the adult industry hub, Las Vegas, where I found myself working alongside, and building rapport with many of my hitherto long-distance peers, producers, and industry insiders."
The "Approximate Podcast" has new bi-weekly episodes that kicked off on Dec. 7, and can be found across all major podcasting platforms, including Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, as well as a Patreon exclusive version, which features full HD three-camera video of each episode.
Added Kelly, "Fast forward to 2023. It occurred to me that I could reignite the Approximate Podcast as a much more tightly focused industry interview show, featuring many of the fellow performers and producers I've honed working relationships with in an effort to share stories and experiences as told directly from the front lines of our industry. Working alongside long-time guest turned permanent co-host, Stefani Special, we opted to produce an entire year's worth of evergreen podcast episodes with the express purpose of an entirely automated, biweekly release schedule across all platforms. I'd like to think we learned a thing or two in the five years since our last outing!"
Season three of the "Approximate Podcast" focuses on the performers, producers, and industry-adjacent guests of the trans adult industry. Episodes include exclusive interviews with Brittney Kade, Domino Presley, Zariah Aura, Tom Moore, Kristel Penn, and Jimmy Broadway, in addition to rising stars, fetish performers, scene producers, and more.
An industry-centered advice column entitled, "Approximate Answers" will run concurrently with the podcast as an appendix, featuring quotes pulled directly from episode interviews and published quarterly in Grooby Girls Magazine.
