Sanctuary LAX Holds Fundraiser Auction to Prepare for Relocation

LOS ANGELESSanctuary LAX Studios will be holding a fundraiser auction and play party on Friday, July 8, at 8:00 p.m. PT at its BDSM community space at 10914 S. La Cienega Blvd.

Sanctuary Studios LAX is well known as one of the biggest BDSM spaces in Southern California and has held up well, even through the COVID pandemic. As the name suggests, Sanctuary has served the LGBTQ+, BDSM and leather community as a safe space for over 20 years. The location has hosted many parties, movie shoots, concerts, classes and other events. The decision to relocate Sanctuary LAX has been greatly influenced by changes in the real estate and mortgage market.

"We will be reopening in a new location soon, but this is our last month here!" said Mistress Cyan, founder and owner of Sanctuary Studios LAX. "That is why we have decided to make this event a fundraiser to help with the cost of relocation."

Events will continue at Sanctuary's current property until July 24, 2022.

"I know how important your space is to the community in your area," said leather community icon and author Race Bannon. "I plan to champion your space to all of my friends once you're relocated. Thank you for what you do."

Sanctuary's auction is a fully vaccinated event and attendees are required to show proof of vaccination and ID at the door. For more information on ticket prices and event details, click here. Those wishing to help with the move can e-mail [email protected] or call (310) 910-0525.
