SAN FRANCISCO—The inaugural San Francisco PornFilmFestival, presented online by Pink and White Productions, will present three short film programs today, including a guest curated program featuring British films, dubbed “Brazen/Brits,” by Max Disgrace of the London PornFilmFestival.

The program begins at 12 noon PT and will feature films from the UK spanning the 1990s to today including the documentary Homecoming, which focuses on queer artist and activist Ajamu, iconic queer photographer/filmmaker Del Lagrace Volcano's classic 1990s docu-porn Pansexual Public Porn, and contemporary works such as Orgone Theory by Four Chambers.
Also featured today is “Post/Porno,” curated by Brazilian filmmaker and scholar Érica Sarmet which includes short adult films from Latin America with selections from Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil and México. That program is followed by “Power/Play,” which presents films such as Piedad and Mutual Masturbation, which address humor and kink.
The festival wraps up on Saturday with two short film programs exploring film craft and excellence in narrative and experimental storylines. It begins with “Vivid/Vision,” with the films Digital Genitals by AORTA Films and Saint Plaisir by Ivan Sobris. The program “Tell/Tale features the animated Á Corps by visual artist Yoann Stehr and Sides of a Lake by Feuer Zeug. The festival’s closing film Volunteers Wanted: or How to Live, Love, and Fuck from the Berlin PornFilmFest, pays homage to the festival from which the San Francisco PornFilmFestival draws its inspiration and moniker. The film will be preceded by Mes Chéris, a docu-porn which was intended for theatrical premieres which were cancelled by the pandemic.
The festival also presents several films which address the pandemic, including Corona, Virar, Contato, OK Cammy and Sex in Times of Corona, a project by 16 German filmmakers.
In “Come/Again,” festival goers can watch the live programs from the past week screening on-demand for 24 hours on Sunday.
