LOS ANGELES—Award-winning male performer Ricky Johnson has been tapped to host the Urban X Awards in August—and he’s scored a major award nomination as well.
Ricky, along with Cindy Starfall and Richelle Ryan, are hosting the 2018 Urban X Awards, set to take place on Sunday, August 19, at the Globe Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. This is the 10th anniversary of the diverse award show, and it could be their biggest and best yet with some of the top names in adult, mainstream celebrities and fans all over the world expected to attend.
Ricky has also scored a nomination for Male Performer of the Year. All awards are fan-voted, including Ricky’s. Ricky fans can rock the vote once a day here from now until August 10.
“I was extremely honored to be hosting the Urban X Awards,” said Ricky. “Last year, I was there winning Best Male Newcomer, and this year I’m hosting and up for Male Performer of the Year—what a difference a year makes! I’m excited to be hosting with Cindy and Richelle and know we will make this year’s show extra special.”
