HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood had a banner year that’s reflected by 52 AVN Awards nominations that he earned alongside his cast and crews.
Greenwood is up for Best Directing Portfolio – Narrative for his body of work this year, along with Grand Reel and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for Adult Time’s Grinders, which also earned him and Michael Hues a Best Editing nod.
Three of his projects received Best Screenplay nods. MissaX’s "One Last Kiss" earned Ricky a Best Screenplay – Featurette, and Adult Time’s "The Bargain" earned Maddy Barton the same nomination. Shawn Alff captured a Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series nod for Grinders.
Greenwood’s scenes received 12 awards nominations:
• Best Featurette for "The Bargain" and "One Last Kiss"
• Most Outrageous Sex Scene for "The Bargain" with Ashley Lane and Tommy Pistol
• Best Three-Way Sex Scene – M/F/M for MissaX’s "Mommy's Boys Pt. 3" with Natasha Nice, Tyler Nixon, and Dante Colle and Dorcel’s "Gianna 4 You" with Gianna Dior, Mick Blue, and Steve Holmes
• Best Three-Way Sex Scene – F/F/M for “Grinders – Part 3” with Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, and Nathan Bronson and Dorcel’s "One Night in Los Angeles – Scene 3" with Kenna James, Emily Willis, and Dante Colle
• Best Male/Female Sex Scene for "A Missa Xmas Pt. 2" with Aiden Ashley and Tyler Nixon
• Best Female/Female Sex Scene for AllHerLuv’s "Write What You Know Pt. 2" with Penny Barber and Liz Jordan
• Best All-Female Group Sex Scene for Girlsway’s "Lady Boss: Performance Reviews" with Bell, Vicki Case, Kimmy Kimm, and April Olsen
• Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene for "A Missa Xmas Part 3" with Jane Wilde, Dante Colle, and Tommy Pistol
• Best Trans Group Sex Scene for TransSensual’s “TS Cheaters 4 – Scene 4” with Eva Maxim, Chloe Temple, and Tony Sting
Greenwood’s series were also recognized:
• Best All-Female Movie or Limited Series for AllHerLuv’s The Lesbian Study
• Best MILF Movie or Limited Series for MissaX’s Mommy's Boys and Family Sinner’s Mothers & Stepsons 7
• Best Taboo Relations Movie or Limited Series for Family Sinners’ Daddy's Girl 4 and Family Favors 3
• Best Trans Movie or Limited Series for TransSensual’s My TS Stepdaughter 4 and TS Cheaters 4
• Best Trans Series or Channel for TransSensual’s TS Taboo
• Greenwood’s crews were also nominated. Grinders scored Best Art Direction, Best Soundtrack, Best Cinematography, and Best Hair & Makeup. "The Bargain" and "One Last Kiss" also earned Best Hair & Makeup nods.
• His casts received four Best Actor – Featurette nominations, two Best Actress – Featurette nominations, two Best Leading Actor nominations, four Best Supporting Actor nominations, one Best Supporting Actress nomination, two Best Leading Actress nominations, Best Non-Sex Performance, and Best Thespian – Trans/X.
