Countess Diamond Guests on 'Business, Babies, and Bossing It'

CYBERSPACE—On the latest episode of business podcast "Business, Babies, and Bossing It," Countess Diamond speaks freely to the hosts Jess Morgan and Cass Bodington about the trials and tribulations of balancing motherhood and running a successful business as a sex worker.

"I wanted to keep my private life private and my income as steady as possible. At no point did I want my brand to appear offline," said Diamond.

The episode comes after Diamond released an exclusive exposé about her time working as a dominatrix while pregnant, "In the hope that this aids the destigmatization of consensual erotic labour and assists and educates those in the industry who might be about to embark on parenthood," Diamond said.

The award-winning Dominatrix tells of searching for any experiences of "pregnancy, maternity leave or parenthood as a sex worker," to which there were "limited results, especially within the realms of online sex work."

In speaking out about her experience, she hopes to shed light on how to successfully prepare for parental leave while running an adult subscription-based business. Said Diamond, "I hope to demystify the process and help fellow workers make informed decisions."

The podcast, now in its second season, features guests sharing their experiences of navigating work while parenting, and the new episode centers on Diamond’s experience shaking taboos, carving a new path in the sex work landscape and navigating the line between personal and professional while preparing her business for maternity leave.
