Pineapple Support Releases End of Year Review for 2023

CYBERSPACEPineapple Support, an adult industry mental health nonprofit, has released its end-of-year review for the year 2023, covering the achievements, challenges, and new initiatives of the organization this year.

In 2023, Pineapple Support saw continued growth and increased reach, thanks to the backing of its sponsors. By the end of the year, the organization had:

• Connected nearly 3,500 performers, producers, and other members of the adult community with emotional support and therapy
• Provided over 32,000 one-on-one therapy sessions to adult performers and producers
• Recruited more than 110 new therapists worldwide
• Hosted over 48 webinars and 252 support group meetings
• Conducted mental health awareness training sessions for seven different platforms and businesses
• Provided active listening to nearly 1,100 individuals in need of emotional support
• Hosted 12 corporate training events for current sponsors

Founder and CEO of Pineapple Support Leya Tanit said, "We have between 300 and 400 performers using our resources at any one time, and this demand continues to grow. To date, we have spent over 1.5 million dollars on therapy and services and provided support to over 12,000 industry workers. Since 2020 an average of 79 percent of all donations have gone to cover therapy and program costs, making us one of the most efficient non-profits in the US."

The end-of-year review outlines how the organization has continued its commitment to delivering free and low-cost mental health therapy, support, and resources to performers and content creators in the adult industry. The roundup details the fundraising strategies, a comprehensive schedule of events, including webinars, support groups, in-person and online events, as well as other initiatives that led the organization to a significant milestone of having connected 10,000 performers with support.

Tanit added, "This year marked another significant chapter in our story. To date, we've helped over 12,000 industry workers, thanks to our unwavering dedication. However, the support from our sponsors, therapists, staff, and community has been fundamental to our achievements. Your generosity continues to be the lifeline that allows us to continue our mission. Together, we can bring about a positive change and ensure that no one in our community is ever left without the care they deserve."
