SAN FRANCISCO—Penny Barber stars in Dirty Cops, a new feature from Digital Playground, available now in episodic form at DigitalPlayground.com.
The movie, directed by Ricky Greenwood, follows the story of officers Bishop (Nicole Kitt) and Jones (Alex Jones) who need to prove themselves in the the police force, but they might be biting off more than they can chew. The mysterious kidnapping of a fellow officer reveals some shady business going on behind the scenes. The plot thickens as Detective Harris (Jennifer White) is suspected of working with crime boss Gibbs (Scott Nails).
After appearing in episode one, Police Chief Warren (Barber) is angry at officers Bishop and Jones. A ransom video demanding $10 million for the return of Officer Allff has arrived. She wants to ensure Bishop and Jones are team players when DA Hopkins (Isiah Maxwell) joins the trio for a four-way in the squad room. Chief Warren warns the rookies to be quiet about traitor Detective Harris and do whatever they can to bring Officer Allff home.

“I really enjoyed working on Dirty Cops and showing off my acting skills, taking charge of the police station, and orchestrating a foursome in the squad room," Barber said. "I hope my role earns me some Best Supporting Actress nominations and wins during awards season."
