SAN FRANCISCO—After a month of what the company described as "intense growth" that has included the launch of its new magazine-style website, Peepshow Media has released its 60th episode.
The new episode features an interview with Ignacio Rivera, founder and executive director of the HEAL Project, an organization that works to prevent and end childhood sexual abuse by healing the wounds caused by sexual oppression and by embracing sexual liberation. Rivera previously worked in the sex industry under the name Papi Coxxx.
Rivera talked to Peepshow about healing from childhood sexual abuse, their own path to sexual liberation, and why sex education needs to focus on communication, boundaries and consent.
Rivera told Peepshow, “I’m just living my life. This is my healing journey. People don’t get it, but I often say kink and sex are my medicine, and they are mine to have; it is a thing that brings me joy because I have control over it now.”
