LOS ANGELES—Adult performer Nyomi Star is joining Team ASPCA for a run in the New York City Marathon. The event takes place November 4.
Star loves animals, and her own menagerie includes four dogs, two cats, and a turtle, so running for the ASPCA is very close to her heart. It’s not easy to get a spot in this marathon, and Star has to raise $3,500 by October.

“Although the donations to the ASPCA are more important, but I also need the funds to help get me to New York, so that I can race. The top three contributors will win a prize,” said Star.
Star first ran the marathon in 2013, and she has been preparing by doing CrossFit and obstacle course racing. Star has completed seven Spartan races, including the recent Big Bear Beast this past May.

Star recently attended Exxxotica Chicago in June, where she signed at the Galaxy Publicity booth. Proceeds of her sales there went to fund the marathon event.
