Coleen Jolly, the creator of PoleCon, the international convention for exotic dancers and pole exercisers, obviously has a great deal of faith as to when the current COVID-19 pandemic will have abated enough for the country to largely reopen. In that vein, she's made the latest workshop schedule for the convention, which is slated to take place August 13-16 in New Orleans, available on the convention's website.
"Fortunately, most of our workshop leaders were able to attend the new dates—hurray!" she exclaimed in an email to supporters. "We have added a few additional workshops from new instructors as well as some additional workshops with existing instructors whose workshops were already filling up fast."

Jolly asks potential workshop purchasers to consider purchasing a transfer credit that can be applied to any pole or non-pole workshop. To facilitate such purchases/transfers, contact Jolly at [email protected].

"As this situation continues to evolve, we continue to update our policies," Jolly stated.
Those who cannot attend PoleCon 2020 in August have these options:
- Transfer your pass and/or any workshops or privates as credits to the 2021 event.
- Transfer your pass and/or any workshops to someone else through a private sale. Workshops can be credits and do not have to be for the exact workshop you originally booked. For instance, you can sell/buy a pole workshop credit or a non-pole workshop credit.
- Ask for a refund.
"We greatly appreciate everyone working hard to transfer passes/workshops and those that have transferred passes/workshops to themselves for the 2021 event," she said. "Your support helps ensure PoleCon's survival. <3
"Some of our vendors cannot make the new dates and we are arranging transfers for a few inside booths with prime locations."
