LOS ANGELES—Adult star Misty Stone added another honor to her industry accolades recently when she was named Female Performer of the Year at the 2017 Urban X Awards.
Stone was the red carpet host for the awards show, which took place on August 20 in Glendale, California.
“Thank you so much to the Urban X Awards for my Female Performer of the Year Award. This means so much to me, and I was so shocked and excited to hear my name called. There’s so many great women in that category, and it’s an honor to receive this. I also want to thank everybody I have worked with this year. I appreciate you acknowledging my work. It’s been a very busy year for me, and I have so much more to come, baby,” Stone said.
Stone also was on stage when the Best Black Release winner was announced. She had a major role in the winning movie, the Wicked Pictures title Ethni•city, directed by Brad Armstrong. Among her other releases this year are Black Out (Jules Jordan Video), Double Booked (Adam & Eve Pictures), Women Seeking Women 136 (Girlfriends Films), Interracial Submissions (Penthouse) and Filthy Rich Lesbians (Filly Films).
A 2014 Penthouse Pet, Stone was featured in the Showtime special X Rated 2 The Greatest Adult Stars of All Time. She was a co-star on Cinemax’s Co-ed Confidential and appeared in the FX television series Sons of Anarchy.
