NEW YORK—Eva Oh, aka Mistress Eva, is set to take part in this year’s Wilderness Festival (August 5-8) in Oxfordshire, England, to discuss the topic of "Sex Work & the Future" alongside London’s Mistress Adreena.
Oh will open up to attendees of the sold-out event—which celebrates the modern culture of art, entertainment, food, drink, health and wellness—in an intimate conversation about her daily life and work, and how technology, politics and society will alter the future of her professional existence.
“I have found that opening the floor to frank and spontaneous conversation is a beautiful way to create intimacy and understanding,” says Oh. “In my experience, it has been the most reliable format to instigate a connection between the topic of sex work/our personhood as sex workers and the audience so far.”
Oh’s discussion panel is part of the Festival’s "House of Sublime" programming, which caters to edgier (and often adult) themes and ideas in the form of live-art, theatre and alt-cabarets that push buttons and boundaries. Information about the 2021 Wilderness Festival can be found here.
