This virus has stripped us of so much: Friends and family who did not survive; our daily routines that we all took so much for granted; and in some cases our entire way of life that we were used to. But it hasn't taken away our humanity and our ability to love and care for each other. Let's not lose the compassion and understanding of others as we move forward. For the brave soldiers, first responders, and caregivers who are no longer here, let's remember how important they were, and are, to all of us. On Memorial Day, let's celebrate their lives. Let's remember all the great things these people have done, and give thanks that we are still here to do so.
