Mile High Media, O.L. Entertainment Earn 67 AVN Awards Noms

MONTREAL—Sister companies Mile High Media and O.L. Entertainment combined for 67 nominations for the 2020 AVN Awards.

“On behalf of the many dedicated artists and professionals that make up the entire Mile High and O.L. families, I would like to thank AVN for these outstanding nominations,” said Vice President Jon Blitt. “It has been a tremendous year of growth, creativity and passion while creating high quality adult entertainment and these nominations affirm our commitment to our fans, our partners and our industry.”

Among the companies’ acclaimed studios honored were Bellesa Films, Family Sinners, Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video, TransSensual, Hard X, Dark X, Erotica X and Lesbian X.

Hosted by adult superstar Nikki Benz and camming sensation Emily Bloom, the 37th annual AVN Awards will be presented Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The awards honor excellence and outstanding achievement in the adult industry.

Leading the way for the sister companies was Hard X with 18 nominations, including Best Anal Series for Anal Cuties, Best Big Butt Production for Big Anal Asses 8, Best Ingénue Production for Super Cute 9, Best Group Sex Production for Hardcore Threesomes 3, and others. Next, was Sweetheart Video with 16 nominations, including Best Director – Dramatic Production for Ricky Greenwood for his acclaimed Confessions of a Sinful Nun 2: The Rise of Sister Mona. which earned eight nods, including Best Leading Actress for Magdalene St. Michaels and Best Supporting Actress for adult icon Nina Hartley.

Acclaimed studio Sweet Sinner was next, earning 12 nominations, including Best Action/Thriller for What We Do for Money, Best Drama for My Husband’s Boss: The Power Position, and Best Polyamory Production for A Nanny Desired, among others. 

The trans imprint TransSensual earned five nominations, including Best Transgender Production for Transgression, while the new studio Bellesa Films earned four nominations, which included Best Romance for Holding Out & Giving In.

Earning Director of the Year nominations were the companies’ leading directors Ricky Greenwood, Mason and Jacky St. James who have helped fuel the success of many popular series and features.
