Mick Blue to Compete in Auto Race This Weekend

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—Mick Blue is set to compete in the National Auto Sport Association (NASA)-sponsored racing competition at Buttonwillow Raceway Park near Bakersfield, Calif. this weekend (Oct. 7-8).

The Austria native and three-time AVN Performer of the Year is scheduled to compete in the Spec E 30 class with his yellow and black No. 76 Bad Dragon BMW 325i under the banner of Mick Blue Racing. Blue is currently second in the standings or 45 points behind the current leader with six races to go in the season.

“I’m super excited to go racing this weekend. Huge thanks to Bad Dragon for sponsoring me this season and making it possible to have a great front-running car,” Blue said. “The competition will be tough as always, with more than 12 cars in my class. Spec E30.

“For all interested in watching the races—we have qualifying and race one on Saturday and two races on Sunday. I will post a live link to my social media accounts before the race, if technical gremlins on track won’t cross my plan.”

Blue, who began racing in 2017, acquired his sponsorship with pleasure product brand Bad Dragon in 2018 and introduced his custom BMW in 2022. He is also set to compete at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, near Indio, Calif. later this month.
