LOS ANGELES—Austrian porn actor Mick Blue is up for 23 nominations for the upcoming 2023 AVN Awards. He has been nominated over 150 times in the past.
Blue says, "It's just crazy and I’m overjoyed."
In 2015, 2016, and 2017, Blue won Male Performer of the Year and also earned the title of Best Male Actor twice.
Added Blue, "These are more nominations than I imagined. It's a validation of hard work and that's what you work towards every year."
This year, Blue earned 20 nominations for his acting talents, and then three nominations for his directing work.
Two out of the 23 nominations are special for Blue. He said, "Of course every nomination is great, but what I'm extremely proud of are the nominations for Male Performer of the Year and Best Supporting Actor."
Also, Blue has a chance to win an award in the Double Penetration category.
