LOS ANGELES—Mary Moody's worn a lot of hats in her short time in adult entertainment. She's been an award-winning beauty, a Penthouse, a political activist—and now she's vying for a spot on the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) Board of Directors.
Voting is now open for the FSC Board and Moody is on the ballot for the first time. If elected, she would get a two-year term. She has been some stiff competition for the one open seat, and she’s asking her industry friends who are FSC members to vote for her.
“As an award-winning performer with five years’ experience in the adult industry, I have always been passionate about using my platform and experience to help others," Moody explained. "In 2019, I collaborated with other sex workers to form a coalition to combat harmful legislation. I love helping other sex workers and commit time to providing resources and consultations free of charge to industry members. I am hopeful that I can improve on this important work as an FSC board member.”
Voting ends at midnight on Dec. 7. All members in good standing are eligible to vote and were emailed a link with voting instructions on Dec. 1.
