LOS ANGELES—Marica Hase has been cast in many scenes in 2018, but none quite like Wicked Pictures’ Carnal. And now, Marica she has earned a 2019 AVN Awards nomination for her scene work in the blockbuster title.
“Filming the scene for Carnal was truly amazing and I’m honored that AVN has recognized the film, especially my scene this awards season,” Marica said. “I can’t wait to work with Brad Armstrong and/or Wicked again!”
Wicked Pictures’ Carnal takes viewers on a sexual fantasy around the world, which included an all-girl Asian-themed orgy shot in an Asian palace with Marica, as well as Tia Kai, Nyomi Star, Kaylani Lei, and Ember Snow equipped with ninja swords and enjoying each other. It was Marica’s third time on a Wicked set, and her scene was honored this awards season. Directed by Brad Armstrong, the scene scored a Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene nomination.
The AVN Awards have become the gold standard in the adult industry for awards shows. For over three decades, they have honored the outstanding achievements in the business of pleasure with a stylish red carpet pre-show and star-studded ceremony. In 2019, the awards show will again be taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 26.
