NEW YORK—Marcela Alonso has welcomed Nikki Dial on this week's episode of the "Get Schooled" podcast, "The Balance of Life: Insights from AVN Hall of Fame Inductee Nikki Dial."
Dial is one of the most celebrated performers from 1990s adult cinema, who had exclusive contracts with Legend, VCA, and Vivid. The over 60-minute interview is now available.
Alonso and Dial tackled topics like the importance of taking breaks from the industry and the difficulty of having relationships while in the industry. They talked about her journey from being homeless at 17 to a survival sex worker at 18, delving into bondage and BDSM-oriented clubs, meeting Christy Canyon, making movies, and signing with an agency. Dial reminisced about feature dancing with four shows a night, six nights a week, and being on the road two weeks out of each month.
After leaving the industry, Dial went to college and received a master's degree in mental health and now helps others after dealing with anxiety and depression herself. After missing sex work, Dial returned to the industry in 2023 and started appearing on Exxxotica expos and reconnecting with her fans. She's also a content creator on OnlyFans and LoyalFans, who does solos and will be delving into girl/girl collaborations soon.
