VENICE, Calif.—Not content with reigning as AVN's 2017 Male Performer of the Year, Mick Blue is looking to rev up a new career as a professional auto racer. And it turns out his dream is gaining traction online. Among the stories that have come out in recent days are an article on Break.com and a post on EveryJoe.com.
Break.com made Mick the center of “Former Porn Stars Who Packed It In And Got New Streams Of Income,” opening up with the tale of his porn-set-to-racetrack trajectory. The post, which went live on April 10, already has nearly 18,000 views.
“The average stint in skin flicks lasts between six and eighteen months,” write Roger-T in the Break.com post. “Mick Blue, however, has put in 17 long, hard years, filming over 2,000 movies in that time. Now in his forties, the man has his sights set on another exciting industry not without its health hazards: Professional racecar driver.”
In “Mick Blue: From Adult Films to the Race Track,” EveryJoe.com posts an item about the three-time Performer of the Year and his new career goals, including a video by Blue that explains he is currently looking for investors to help shoulder the hefty expenses of forming a proper race team.
In the meantime, his porn career is staying on track. Next week Third Degree is releasing Anal Training Teens, which features Blue doing the honors in Liza Rowe’s first-ever anal scene. Also starring in the movie are Ashley Adams, Tiffany Watson, Moka Mora and John Strong.
Blue is also eagerly awaiting the 2017 XRCO Awards, held April 27 at OHM in Hollywood. He is nominated for Male Performer of the Year. In addition, Anal Tootsies (BAM Visions) is nominated for Best Gonzo Movie and Babysitting the Baumgartners (Adam & Eve), which starred Blue and his wife, Anikka Albrite, is up for Best Release.
