CYBERSPACE—Lola Rae has done several virtual reality scenes, and now she has sat down with the world’s most-trafficked VR site to talk about it.
Rae's first VR shoot was VirtualRealPorn's “Army Forces Day” and it scored a 9 out of 10 and led to a lot more work. More recently she starred in “After the Premiere,” a story about returning from the first screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it was after witnessing this event that VRPorn.com knew they had to talk to her.
“The performance of Lola was mesmerizing enough to add this sweet and kinky Brit to the list of stars who should be interviewed,” the site wrote.
“The first time I shot in virtual reality was around a year ago for a site called thevirtualpornwebsite,” Lola recalled of her VR experience. “I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I found it enjoyable to shoot. Shooting in VR is different from regular porn especially when shooting boy/girl, as there is not much interaction between the performers as you have to make it like you are interacting with the viewer, so the girl is doing most of the talking etc.”
Virtual reality or no, there are a lot of porn stars who simply can’t or won’t watch their scenes. But Lola has watched herself in VR—and she found it to be a bizarre experience.
“I have watched a few of my VR scenes and it was really strange, as if I was actually there watching myself ... I can see how it appeals to people, watching normal porn doesn’t compare to actually feeling like you are there!”
