Logan Pierce Featured in Documentary Short; Stars in Horror Film

LOS ANGELES—Adult performer Logan Pierce, the 2013 AVN Award winning Best Male Newcomer, stars in two new projects—a documentary short about his life as a porn stud and a mainstream horror film.

Pierce is featured in a fast-paced 90-second glimpse into the life of a working male performer that was directed and edited by Rob Himebaugh, an award-winning filmmaker who also helmed the horror film, City of Ticks, in which Pierce also stars.

Produced by new commercial production company, Post Captain Media, the doc explores Logan's pursuits out of the business while also portraying the industry in a lighthearted and playful light. Performer Lilly Ford and director Eddie Powell also appear in the doc that is currently streaming on YouTube. In addition, the doc is serving as the homepage to Logan's site, Whoislogan.com, where he showcases his passion for prose and poetry.

Meanwhile, Pierce co-stars with mainstream actors Ryan Canney and Lindsey Ginter in City of Ticks. The film's synopsis reads: "Science and superstition collide when rival archaeologists are sent on a secret mission to the war-torn jungles of Guatemala to begin excavation of a lost Mayan city, only to awaken the same cosmic horror that caused the civilization's collapse a millennium before."

Horror guru Rob Himebaugh also wrote the screenplay for the movie. Check out the trailer here. The film is now streaming on Vimeo and YouTube

Pierce’s first novel, Between the Sheets: Rise of a Working Stiff, is available now. For info on the audio version, click here.
