LiveUnicorns to Donate Earnings to Ukrainian Humanitarian Efforts

LOS ANGELES—The camming site LiveUnicorns has announced that it will donate 10 percent of its earnings this month to benefit Ukrainian refugees.

"LiveUnicorns wants to put in motion efforts to not only raise money for humanitarian relief for Ukrainian refugees but help accommodate and find work for performers while they are displaced," the company said in its announcement. "With this in mind, for the month of March Live Unicorns will donate 10 percent of all income from our site to Ukrainian refugees through various charitable entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)."

LiveUnicorns will also work on relocating displaced Ukrainian performers and their families to accommodations where they can stay for up to one week. The goal is to directly book accommodations of up to 30 rooms in multiple cities and locations in safe harbor countries around the Ukrainian border.

The effort also aims to join with other organizations to help raise aid for sex workers, cam performers and other people within the industry on both sides who are impacted by the current humanitarian crisis resulting from Russia's invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24. LiveUnicorn's executive staff has also committed to donating their salaries to relief efforts.

"This is just the beginning of our planned efforts to try and do what we can during this time of heartbreak and crisis," the company added.
