LOS ANGELES—Lia Lin and Karina King star in “Tale of Hidden Embers,” a new scene available now from Mixed X.
Written and directed by Christina Shine, who also stars, the scene follows the story of Lin as she sulks through a festive Christmas dinner with Shine and her stepmom (King) and contemplates the idea of finally coming out as a lesbian.
“The holidays are about making unforgettable memories with the people we love, and that is what ‘Tale of Hidden Embers’ is about,” said Shine, who wanted to create a supportive relationship between the movie’s characters. “We hope that fans take some well-earned time off over the next couple of weeks and enjoy the view at MixedX.com.”
