SAINT PETERSBURG, FL—Fetish Con and its "con within a con" Bond Con begins in Florida later this week, and Kinbaku Studio’s Susuwatari and Lady Lyonene have announced that they will be presenting four rope-bondage-focused workshops at this year’s gathering. The largest networking event for the fetish industry and community on the East Coast, Fetish Con will b egin this Thursday and carry through the weekend, August 8–11, in St. Petersburg.
The Kinbaku Studio team has been practicing the art of rope bondage for over a decade, continually sharing their expertise with fellow bondage enthusiasts and curious kinksters. In addition to presenting at numerous conferences and conventions, holding private lessons, and leading intensive workshops worldwide, the duo also participates at eXXXotica Expo’s Dungeon Experience as rope artists. Their educational outreach has included events such as Kinky Kollege, Kinky Con, the Coastal Carolina Fetish Fair, and several other local and regional events. When Susuwatari and Lady Lyonene are not traveling, they use their Virginia-based photography and video studio to capture the art of rope bondage, offer private lessons, and lead weekend intensives. They also make available the studio’s branded merchandise, including a custom line of jute rope and low-temperature wax play candles, in vibrant colors perfect for use on camera.
With a focus on body-positive consensual rope play, the Kinbaku Studio team aims to make rope bondage an enjoyable experience for anyone interested in the art. While at Fetish Con/Bond Con, Susuwatari and Lady Lyonene will present one workshop per day throughout the four-day weekend:
* Thurs., August 8, 3-4:30 p.m.: Rope Bondage for Web Cam Models
* Fri., August 9, 2-3:30 p.m.: Understanding Body-Positive Bondage
* Sat., August 10, 6-7:30 p.m.: Suspensions with Bigger Bodies
* Sun., August 11, 1-2:30 p.m.: Introduction to Bondage for Humiliation
Of particular note is the team’s kickoff practicum, dedicated to rope bondage for cam models, which will feature award-winning adult entertainer Lauren Phillips as their demo model. Attendees to the workshop, who will learn not only how to tie for solo performances for camming purposes, but also in team scenarios, may want to bring 2-3 bundles of rope if they choose to participate; those without rope are also invited to sit in on the class to watch, learn, and network with fellow rope, shibari, kinbaku, and bondage enthusiasts.

When not leading workshops, Kinbaku Studio invites fans, fellow practitioners, inquisitive kinksters, and fetish lifestylers to also stop by their booth on the newly-constructed Bond Con show floor, located within the Fetish Con host hotel. The duo will perform demos, answer questions, and network with models, performers, and fans.
“We are excited to have our good friend, Wheeled Vet Photography, help us in our booth again this year,” said Susuwatari. “We will have our suspension rig set up in part of our booth, so attendees can have a chance to try rope bondage and suspension, as well as several rope bondage items we brought back with us from our most recent trip to Japan. Our featured products are our colorful jute rope and low-temperature wax play candles. We also look forward to networking with other industry professionals.

"She will be at the booth for several hours each day of the Con, to sign autographs and take pictures; she will also have limited time available for photographers to book her for their own shoots.
