CYBERSPACE—#SexTalkTuesday has announced that internationally known stand-up comic and sex worker rights advocate Kaytlin Bailey will serve as the special guest moderator of the March 3 edition of the Twitter-based chat show. The chat will run from 3-4 p.m. ET/Noon-1 p.m. PT. The topic will be sex worker rights, and Ms. Bailey will be bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and humor.
“Kaytlin is in every way an ideal person to lead a #SexTalkTuesday discussion,” said Angie Rowntree (@AngieRowntree), owner of Sssh.com and producer of #SexTalkTuesday. “She’s incredibly witty, candid and very good at speaking frankly about tough topics. We’re honored to have her bring her insight and wit to #SexTalkTuesday.“
Kaytlin is a writer, stand-up comic, and sex worker rights advocate based in New York City. She hosts the Oldest Profession Podcast, with each episode concentrating on a different sex worker from history. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Jacobin, The Washington Examiner and Vice. She travels the country as both a performer and sex worker rights advocate as Director of Communications for Decriminalize Sex Work.
A fun and provocative Twitter-based chat held every Tuesday of each month, #SexTalkTuesday is hosted and coordinated by Sssh.com, one of the web’s premier destinations for porn for women and couples.
Each session, a guest moderator asks thought-provoking questions to a large and active group of participants, who send hundreds of tweets during each round of #SexTalkTuesday. The result is a lively and entertaining discussion that invites participants to be open and candid with their thoughts and opinions on sex, life, love and the humor of it all, in a way that fosters a supportive and compassionate environment for the conversation.
