LAS VEGAS, NV—Wicked Pictures is lauding the fact that the chart-topping Editor's Choice parody release Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody became 2018's most awarded feature at the 35th Annual Adult Video News Awards. European production powerhouse Dorcel, distributed in the United States exclusively by Wicked for over twenty years, similarly dominated the foreign awards categories thanks to a quartet of high-profile wins.
Hosted by Angela White, Harli Lotts and comedian Aries Spears on January 27 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the evening saw Braun’s acclaimed Wicked Comix blockbuster emerge as the feature hit of the evening with six major trophies, including Best Director-Feature and the filmmaker's eighth consecutive Best Parody win. The production's other awards triumphs included Best Special Effects, Best Makeup, Best Art Direction and Best Marketing Campaign-Individual Project.
“I must say, in my entire career, no other production has been as cursed as this one,” Axel said. “Literally everything that could have possibly gone wrong, did. Luckily I had one thing going for me: the unwavering support, commitment, and loyalty of a fantastic group of people who gave 110 percent and made it possible for me to be here right now staring at my eighth consecutive Best Parody AVN Award, humbled and incredibly proud of the movie we made."

Dorcel's sweep included trophies for Best Foreign Non-Feature (Anissa The Tenniswoman), Best Director–Foreign Non-Feature (Hervé Bodilis, Megan Escort Deluxe), Best Sex Scene in a Foreign-Shot Production (Claire Castel, Kristof Cale, Math & Ricky Mancini, Claire Desires of Submission), and Best Director-Foreign Feature (Hervé Bodilis & Pascal Lucas, Revenge of a Daughter).
In other highlights, veteran Wicked director Jonathan Morgan's Conflicted earned Kyle Stone a Best Non-Sex Performance trophy, while Tommy Pistol snared the coveted Best Actor award for his fine work in Mike Quasar's Ingenue. Wicked Sensual Care, the awarded creator of cruelty-free and PETA-certified lubricants and enhancers for women and men, received the Best Lubricant Manufacturer award.
