Julia Epiphany Overcomes 2020 Setbacks and Looks Forward to 2021

LOS ANGELES—Ms. Julia Epiphany got into adult late in 2019, but her 2020 hasn't exactly been easy for her. Besides facing the threat of catching COVID-19, she also lived through an eviction in the dead of winter in subzero Canadian temps (she's a native) with nowhere to go and no fallback. But in a testament to her resilience, fortitude, and vision, not only did she survive, the transgender lesbian actuallly managed to grow her brand in a year that's been tough for most adult performers.

Excited by her 2019 nominations for her first Transgender Erotica Award as a Best Non-US Performer and AVN Fan Awards Favorite Trans Cam Star and Favorite Trans Porn Star, the statuesque trans gal also picked up a nomination for a Live Cam Award for Best Trans Live Cam Model that year. It seemed as though she was on a fast track to success when the pandemic sidelined her budding career.

As the world descended into chaos, and with almost no income and no permanent place to stay, Epiphany reformulated her career strategy, reimagining her immediate future with only the tools she could carry. She persevered and still managed to do cam shows, attended the virtual Transgender Erotica Awards, and slowly began to rebuild.

Epiphany was showcased in the 2019 TEA official program book, the first publication with her name and image on the printed page, and within a few months would be featured for the first time on a DVD. A Canadian by birth, Epiphany is a former YNOT Cam Awards nominee and was crowned by CAM4 as its first TS cover model in August 2019.

The lithe trans gal spent the summer piecing her life back together, day by day, eventually launching an online store, and finally in December engaging a publicist and adding NiteFlirt to her lineup of services. In short, Julia Epiphany relaunched her career.

One of her more recent achievements was, she spoke on the subject of Gender Identity and Expression in the Adult Entertainment Business at the YNOT Summit virtual seminar panels, held online Dec. 1-3, 2020 at YNOTsummit.com in a panel discussion together with fellow trans-ients Casey Kisses, Buck Angel, Bambi Bliss, Kelly Pierce, and Alex Lecomte.

“2021 will without a doubt bring new challenges,” she acknowledged, “which I'm determined to martial peacefully. New adventures await your charismatic, soft-spoken, eternal optimist trans lesbian entrepreneur, and I hope to share every glowing detail of which with my loyal and new fans everywhere as it all unfolds through social media, my cam shows, phone hotlines, and whichever ways the future will grant me.”
