In Positions, struggling ballet dancer Florence (Cléa Gaultier) needs to inject some passion into her performance. Escaping to a secret dancers’ retreat, the ballerina soon realizes she’s not the only one who could do with practicing some new positons. From a strict ballet teacher who challenges her student to hold first position while they perform a distractingly beautiful strip tease, to a beautiful stripper who teaches the ballerina how to add sex appeal to her performance, an aerobics instructor who heats up an after-workout cool-down, and a coach who uses his body to support a dancer who has lost her confidence, the month at the dancers’ retreat culminates in Florence’s new routine—and is richly rewarded for her progress as she moves between sensual passion and classical ballet in one incredible final show.
