LOS ANGELES—John Legendary is leveling up his onscreen talents for both adult and mainstream productions with weekly professional acting classes in Los Angeles.
Legendary, who was recently featured in Issa Rae’s comedy-drama series for MAX, Rap Sh!t explained, "After the amazing experience of being on the set of a mainstream show, I realized I wanted to create more opportunities for myself on that side of the industry by learning more about the nuances of acting, so I am now taking lessons once a week from a private instructor. There’s always room for improvement!"
Kicking off his adult career in 2021 while also working as an aerospace defense engineer, Legendary has enjoyed the technical aspects of movie production, but he wanted to explore acting more in-depth. Legendary added, "Because the more skilled and experienced you are as an actor or performer, the better your scenes will be, and acting classes sharpen other talents as well, such as communication, memorization, collaboration, and confidence."
While he progresses with his classes, his future plans include exploring mainstream representation and auditioning for challenging roles while simultaneously shooting erotic scenes for studios and his own production brand, Legendary X. He concluded, "Adult and mainstream have always been kept separate in terms of talent, but these days the lines are blurring. There’s a big world of possibilities out there, and I look forward to seeing what I can find."
